This book is only part of the experience.
It's the beginning — the first conversation — the place where I share enough of my story to give context, but not so much that it replaces the work we do together.
I wrote The War After to help bridge the gap between what trauma feels like on the inside and what clinicians see on the outside. It's my lived experience, shaped carefully and intentionally, so it can serve the work you already do every day.
I have a deep respect for the people who show up for trauma survivors. I'm honored to contribute to that work in any way I can.
